2020年グライダー世界選手権延期のお知らせ

COVID-19 の世界的な流行を鑑み、2020年に予定されていた二つの世界選手権大会は2021年に延期されることになりました

36TH FAI WORLD GLIDING CHAMPIONSHIPS STENDAL 2021
Dear competitors and gliding enthusiasts. In mid-March, we announced a delay for the entry-fee deadline until end of May due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Since then, the outbreak became even more severe and sports activities came to a halt. Many events have already been cancelled. We are not expecting the situation to improve within the next weeks. Hence, the IGC, the Organizing Team and the German NAC (DAeC) decided to move the 36th WGC in the 18m, Open and 20m-Multiseat classes from 2020 to 2021.

We are aiming for the same period in mid to late July and will publish the new schedule for the 36th WGC in 2021 on this site within the next days. All entry fees that have already been paid will be fully refunded. We are asking those who already paid to send us an email to info@wgc2020.de.
