2025年グライダー世界選手権チェコ大会のご案内です。
Dear IGC delegates, FAI members and gliding friends,
We are pleased to invite you all to the 39th World Gliding Championships that will be taking place in the Czech Republic at Tábor Airfield between 7th and 21st June 2025 in the Club, Standard and 15M classes.
The first Bulletin has now been published on the official website www.wgc2025.cz is also included in this email. Alongside the Bulletin, an Invitation Letter and a NAC Nomination Form have also been published.
Individual entries for pilots and team captains will open before the end of the year on the competition website and all entries are due by February 28th, 2025. Alongside individual entries, each NAC also needs to complete a NAC Nomination Form to confirm the nomination of their pilots and submit it by email to info@wgc2025.cz by February 28th, 2025.
In addition to that, we would like to request all NACs to report the expected number of their pilots by email to info@wgc2025.cz by December 15th, 2024. We expect a lot of interest in the WGC and based on our initial predictions we expect to exceed the maximum number of entries. For this reason, we would like to know the estimated number of pilots as soon as possible to give us a possibility to request an increase of the maximum number of entries from the IGC Plenary. Any increase is subject to approval by the Plenary, but we would like to be able to welcome as many pilots as possible. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
